Day 6 turned out to be stormy and low visibility. We took the day off the cat, and got a bunch of work done instead. In the afternoon we attended the guide meeting and talked a lot about how their outerwear is working, and what improvements we could make.
Day 7 And then there were two - team Yeti withdrawals. Went out with a new group, back into the 'north' zone. Fresh snow, but also warmer and heavier. It started snowing hard mid day, and conditions were improving rapidly in the afternoon. We triggered a couple good size class 2 slides, and stuck to the trees. Wasn't the hero conditions we had the first 5 days, but still great snow at higher elevations.
